Be Still And Know (Psalm 46: 7, 9-10)

“The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’ Amen

When we see a bottle of water that has reached the middle level, some of us would like to say it’s half-EMPTY. Others will say it’s half-FULL. This perception of emptiness or fullness reflect our attitudes towards life, and how we see God’s power in our lives.

As believers, we have a promise that God will never leave us nor forsake us even in our most pressing circumstances. When all you can naturally do has failed, just BE STILL and know that He’s the Lord, our help in ages past.

Don’t fill your life with perceptions of emptiness. Rather, have a positive perception of fullness even when all odds are against you. The battle is simply the Lord’s. Trusting in Him allows for His purpose to be fulfilled.

This week may be full of challenges but in all you do Be Still and Trust in the Lord. Just know that He’s the Lord, our fortress. Have a week filled with FULLNESS!
