Topic: God Reveals To Redeem!
Text: Jeremiah 11: 18- 19
18 Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time He showed me what they were doing. 19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, “Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no. Amen
Many conspirators around us. Lately, it is harder to tell who it is that seeks your down fall. The devil devices a lot of schemes against the children of God and works them through two categories of people:
i. Haters: People who just do not like certain things you do. They unconsciously allow satan to fan their hate with whispers of lies. They discuss at your back how to bring you down through gossip, backbitting, lies, envy and mere sabotage.
ii. There Are Also Human Agents Of The Devil: These are people who have willingly sold their souls to the devil. They would rather have evil possess them to destroy others than to want their good. They have covenant with satan to expand his work here on earth. They meet at night (and odd times), and plan evil while you are unaware. The demons in them empower them with the supernatural abilities to cause destructions on those who are not rooted in Christ.
Lately however, One is fortunate to know the people who openly demonstrate their dislike for you. At least that way, he/she can be vigilant while praying for them. There are many others who operate in a more subtle manner. It is part of their strategy.
They are in church with you on Sunday or in the same office during working days. One may even be your best friend. As you innocently open up to them, they pounce on your vulnerability and stab you in the dark.
Jeremiah called himself a gentle lamb being led to the slaughter because he didn’t realise they had plotted against him. BUT GOD REVEALED THEIR PLOT – HALLELUYAH!
God will always reveal it to you, child of God. Through the contradictions between their actions and statements, through the study of His Word, through dreams and visions, by wisdom and intuition. He is ever willing to expose all their secret agenda to you if you will remain connected and committed to Him.
HE REVEALS SO YOU CAN PRAY FOR THEIR REPENTANCE WHILE YOU DESTROY THEIR PLANS AGAINST YOUR LIFE. HE REVEALS SO THAT YOU WILL WATCH YOUR STEPS AND SPEECH WHERE EVER YOU MAY BE. HE REVEALS TO DELIVER US FROM EVIL. GOD REVEALS TO REDEEM!
Take a minute to ponder over all the revelations God gave you which exposed satan’s agenda against you, and begin to pray. Stand in the authority of Christ, by the Power of the Holy Ghost and destroy them all in JESUS NAME!
