“Fantasyland” Is A Fantasy!

Topic: “Fantasyland” Is A Fantasy!
Text: Proverbs 12: 11

He who works his land will have abundant food, but he who chases fantasies lacks judgment. Amen

You read in Matthew 19: 26 that Jesus said, “with God all things are possible”, right? Well not in “fantasyland”. In the land of dreams and fantasies where some of us like to visit often, everything is possible without God.

There, you can build three flying castles in less than 3 minutes, on your own and by yourself . Each castle will have not less than 15 modern suites with the best interior decoration that is yet to be designed.

The only problem is, once you shake yourself out of dreamland to earth, you would still be in the very state you were in before you travelled there; hungry, confused, lost and maybe remorseful for wasting precious time imagining things that will not come your way unless you work towards them.

You see Beloved, God wills the best of everything for us, but He requires our participation every step along the way so that He can manifest His great power through us as events unfold. This makes us:

a) totally reliant on Him as our source.
b) trust Him, as each provision received goes to confirm His ability to provide another.
c) finally, good stewards of all He blessed us with because we trusted Him for it.

Therefore, tell the lazy man to wake up from his slumber. Fantasy is sweet but yields nothing except temporal relief and maybe, permanent regret. “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest — and poverty will come on you like a thief, and scarcity like an armed man.” (Proverbs 24: 33-34)

Make a decision to work with your hands at every good thing you are engaged to do. Be careful to do it as unto God. That way, you will never count a few; for God is your eternal reward and priced possession. Your life will be beautiful and your testimony, great!

Spend time meditating on this word and begin to pray your laziness away. Ask for grace to work while it is day, before night comes when no man can work (John 9: 4). God promises to bless the works of our hands (Deuteronomy 28: 12), why should any expect His blessings with folded arms?

Rise up to faith and hard work. Don’t give on God and faith. Light will surely shine on you. Click: https://youtu.be/q7jV1d2O40M
