Come! Let’s Go Up To The Temple Of The Lord!

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Come! Let’s Go Up To The Temple Of The Lord!
Text: Psalm 27: 4

4 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple. Amen

Let us not get it wrong please. It’s true that there are many self-acclaimed men of God in these end times, starting up churches God has not called them to, preaching messages contrary to the bible and working miracles that are not inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is very true! In fact, all these may even be happening very close to you.

However, it is also true that in these same last days, the Lord God Almighty has poured out His Spirit upon all flesh. Our sons and daughters are prophesying, the old are dreaming dreams and the young are seeing visions (Joel 2: 28). There seems to be SO MUCH GRACE FOR THE GENUINE CHURCH OF GOD TOO AND PROPHET ISAIAH EXPLAINS WHY

Hundreds of years ago, he ‘saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem that in the last days, the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many people will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths.” ‘ (Isaiah 2: 1- 3a).

That is why the word of the Lord is still being preached with power, with signs and wonders following there after. That is why Salvation is still free of charge regardless of background, colour or race. That is why miracles are happening in the lives of all who believe the Word.

You go to every continent and nation on the land this morning, and you will see the glorified Jesus being exalted and lifted up in different languages and cultures by both the young and the old. And it is beautiful! Many heard the message of the cross and gave their lives to Christ and that has remained the reason of their joy and hope. Not just in this life, but also in the life to come.

Why don’t you join the saints of God as we make our way to the temple of the Lord this morning? That was king David’s greatest desire anyway. And that was to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of his life, gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple. How about you, beloved? Where would you rather be? It is common truth now, even to heathens, that in His presence, there is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalms 16 : 11b). Where would you rather be?

As the world and it’s pleasures pass away, why don’t you come up the mountain of the Lord with us. There on the Mount, we will make our way to His temple. He will cleanse, save, strengthen, equip, protect and guide. For on Mount Zion there will be deliverance; it will be holy, and the children of Israel shall posses their inheritance (Obadiah 1: 17).
