Can These Bones Live Again?

Topic : Can These Bones Live Again?
Text: Ezekiel 37: 1-3

1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know.” Amen

It is difficult to watch your dreams and aspirations die. Much more unbearable as you oversee their decay from a once lively endeavour to a dry bone left in the valley at the mercy of the weather.

Down at the bottom of the valley of hopelessness are many such bones. Skeletal remains of unfulfilled dreams and talents are spread across the valley. So are the remains of wonderful marriages that couldn’t stand the test of time.

Companies that folded up after years of investments and hard work compete for space in that valley just as the many unsuccessful attempts by individuals to further their education or become useful in society. The question is: “can such bones live again? Is that even possible?

When God asked Ezekiel if the dry bones could live again, the prophet replied, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know.” By this, Ezekiel acknowledged God to be the only solution to such a challenging issue eventhough he had a part to play; to prophesy or speak life into the situation.

So the Lord said to him; “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ’Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

In the process of prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone; and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them. Then the Lord breathed over them and gave them life. Dry bones in a waste valley transformed into mighty army. What a God!

Rise up Precious One and wake the family too; it is time to pray. The time to ressurect every dry bone in our lives, careers, families and aspirations is now. Standing firmly on scripture, begin to prophesy life for death, good health for sickness, employment for unemployment, success to failure and blessings for curses. Command flesh and life to every dry bone around you and see the amazing army the Lord raises from the rubble. Click: https://youtu.be/XqjlV-hN9Pw
