Topic: You Are Still Here?
Text : Mat 28: 20b.
And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
See we are in the last month in the year and YOU ARE STILL HERE! You remember this month seemed far away when you were making resolutions last year.
The year has been filled with great joy, successes and breakthroughs. You have entered higher realms of glory that you didn’t experience before. God has been faithful to His Word concerning your life.
At the same time, you have had your down moments. Some of us have experienced the worst so far. We have been through fire but still STANDING. There were times you felt you couldn’t hold it together any more. You see, the surging waters hit hard and wrecked your boat, but your life was spared. Even in the midst of the storm, we still experienced God’s blessings.
To every child of God, even the bitter is sweet and the medicine, food. For “we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.” (2 Cor 4: 8-10)
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31). He promised to be with us always and has been more than that to us.
You see, the fact that God has held us all this while, regardless of the dark and rough times, in an indication of how keen He is on keeping us all year round. He has promised to bring to a successful end everything He has begun with us. And that’s how we know greater and better is what is to come.
Just continue to trust Him and obey. Continue in Him when all others fail and the comfort flee. He will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.
