Who So Ever Will, May Come!

Today’s Devotion

Topic: Who So Ever Will, May Come!

Text: Mat 11: 28

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Amen

Let us be sincere with ourselves for a minute. Sometimes we get tired and worn, with a strong desire to rejuvenate.

To the believer, those who are born of the Spirit and not of the flesh, the christian walk may present some challenges that totally dehydrate us.

We are sometimes pressed or persecuted until we feel all used up and wish to turn our backs to God!

We pray, fast, seek the face of God and still go through many challenges that threaten our JOY!

Well, to all of such worn labourers and wounded soldiers, JESUS SAYS, “COME TO ME, I WILL GIVE YOU REST”, He’s our Good Sherperd!

Now to the sinner, the one who has wandered away in darkness for years; those that are tired of living anyway anyhow. Tired of living a life full of complications and hopelessness.

Those who feel caught up in one sin or another and know they’re far from the Lord. JESUS SAYS TO YOU TOO “COME TO ME ALL WHO ARE WEARY, I WILL GIVE YOU REST”, For the Son of Man came to seek and save the Lost!

Finally, to anyone who needs the touch of a healer, the comfort of  the Father and the joy of a Friend! Jesus says COME! Cast your burdens unto me for I care for you.

COME! JUST COME AS YOU ARE. BRING YOUR LOAD AND BURDENS WITH YOU, LAY THEM ALL DOWN AT THE FEET OF JESUS. HE SAYS,

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Mat 11:29).

Begin to pray now! Pour your heart to Jesus. Let Him know it is upon His invitation you have come. Pray until you hear His voice in your spirit saying, “Be whole”. At this very moment, start giving Him thanks because your life will never be the same again.
