It’s illegal Text: Philippians 4:6,7 June 30, 2013

“Do not be anxious for anything; but in all things, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind.” Amen

None of us can deny the fact that at times we are tempted to worry (be anxious) about a number of things. Uncertainties and fears often draw us into deep anxiety about the future.

But the Word of God in the Scripture above clearly spells out what we shouldn’t do, and should do, as children of God.

1) We should never, ever worry about anything; big or small. In Matthew 6, Jesus asks whether anyone can add a single moment to his life span by worrying.

2) We must learn to send all our requests to God through prayer and petition, whiles thanking Him for our situations.

3) Paul states emphatically that when we do these, we shall experience overwhelming peace from God.

Beloved, present your worries to God and watch Him fight all your battles for you. Remember, it’s illegal to worry from today.
