They Will Stumble And Fall!

Topic: They Will Stumble And Fall!

Text: Psalm 27: 2
2 When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Amen
It is no secret that the enemies of God work so hard day and night just to see us fall. Even though they hate one another and have secret plans to destroy one another, they choose to put their differences aside for the common goal of working for our downfall.
They come together as often as possible to build consensus, set traps, throw darts, cast spells and even curse themselves to know no peace until you have been destroyed.
But how is it then that, each time they advance against you, they rather stumble and fall? They advance their attacks one way only to be seen fleeing in seven different directions.
Is their aim not to devour our flesh and make a public spectacle of our faith? How is it that in the end, they seem to rather devour their own flesh and blame one another for a failed mission.
“Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird from the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.” (Ps 124: 6- 7).
Now they are very confused. The people born of Christ have become more mysterious than they are. Just when they are sure we are cast low, then they see that there is a lifting up. Just when they jubilate about our crucifixion, they hear shouts of our resurrection with Christ to reign.
But Beloved, you know that the reason for our testimony has never been a secret: those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High, always abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He saves them from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. The Lord then covers them with his feathers, and under His mighty wings they find refuge. (Psalm 91)
Rise up therefore and be sure to alert every other believer who has given up the fight to rise too. We are the conquerors, not satan. We triumph over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony; (Rev 12: 11). Inspire all God’s children to shake off self pity and put on the whole armour of God so that they can withstand the fiery darts of the enemy.
Don’t let the enemy steal your joy anymore. The blood of Christ makes you too slippery for his schemes. He cannot and must not prevail against you. Begin to pray now. Intercede for your life, career, finances, family and nation.
In your life THE DEVIL MUST GET NO GLORY. He will stumble and fall; and what a mighty fall that will be.
