Topic: The Lord God; Our All In All!
Text: Psalm 84:11 (NLT)

^For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Amen_

The Lord our God is God and will forever remain God. Creation testifies of His supremacy. He has been our dwelling place through all generations. From everlasting to everlasting He is God, and even to the endless years, He remains the same.

Words and attributes cannot be enough to describe His goodness and love towards us. In the text above, we discover some more truths about God and His promises;

i. The Lord God Is Our Sun And Our Shield: This sun shines and brightens every dark area in our lives; restoring hope where there is none and bringing new life to all our dead situations. He is also the shield that protects us from every kind of harm. He shelters us with His wings; keeping us safe and sound regardless of the terrors that are sent by night or the arrows that fly by day.

ii. The Lord God Gives Us His Grace And Glory: He gives us grace to sustain us in our walk with Him. His grace that pardons us when we falter. He clothes us with His glory (i.e. awesome favour & honour). The kind of favour that take us to places and causes us to sit among kings, dressed in honour.

iii. No Good Thing Will He Withhold From Those Who Do What Is Right: Halleluyah! Such an assurance from God; that He will surely reward and satisfy us with many good things once we walk blamelessly before Him. So “tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned.” (Isaiah 3:10)

Dearly Beloved, what is your burden, and why do you weep? The Lord God will meet you this morning if you will call unto Him with all sincerity. He will transform your life, and give gladness in proportions that surpass the magnitude of your former misery. Begin to pray therefore. Give it all to Jesus! HE IS OUR ALL IN ALL!
