The Healing Jesus

Today’s Devotion
Topic: The Healing Jesus
Text: Luke 6: 17-19

“17 He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon, 18 who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil spirits were cured, 19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.” Amen

Jesus is still in the healing business just as He did before. He is still around doing good and healing them that are oppressed of the devil.

Each time Jesus went out to preach, a large crowd gathered around Him. Many people followed Him for different reasons, and He knew it.

He was fully aware that some followed to hear words of eternal life and others followed Him because of food. The sick and oppressed followed Him to be healed, while the Pharisees followed carefully for an opportunity to trap Him.

Well, Jesus always attended easily to those who believed and followed Him with good motives. To the “haters” and “doubters”, He didn’t do much than to preach repentance. So why don’t you trust Him for your healing now?

Tell all others who are sick and broken hearted to come also, Jesus is ready to heal and make them whole. He heals every form of disease without cost. He is a specialist in every field of medicine. He can diagnose their ailing bodies better than any modern computerized diagnostic device. He’s the only surgeon who doesn’t require a theatre. His word is medicine enough to the bone that is wasting away.

You have tried every form of medical procedure for your healing, add Jesus! One touch of His hands will set the sinner free. May He touch and heal your body this very moment. Begin to thank Him for your healing and pray for the sick all over the world. Come and see how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with healing and power, that everywhere He went, did good.
