Topic : Summon Your Power Oh Lord!
Text : Psalm 68: 19-20, 28, 30a

19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. 20 Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death. 28 Summon your power, O God; show us your strength, our God, as you have done before. 30a Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Amen

Day in and day out believers are bombarded on every side by spells, curses, darts, arrows and attacks from the forces of darkness.

There are random attacks that might just hit you if your prayer life is weak and specific attacks purported to obstruct, distract or possibly, hit you with a heavy blow to cause your downfall.

But praise be to the Lord, to the God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens. You see, grace really helped us make the best decision when we forfeited the world, repented from sin to receive the Lord Jesus into our lives, because our God, IS A GOD WHO SAVES. By His power all who call on His name escape death.

Therefore call the family and gather all loved ones around, it’s time to pray. As you can see, the attacks are getting too much and it’s almost overwhelming (which should not be). Can’t you tell that your faith is becoming weaker each day that this problem persists?

Lift up your voice to heaven. The prayer is very simple : “Lord Summon your power and come to our rescue. Show us your strength today as you have always done. Rebuke the beast among the reeds destroying it and defend our territory from scavengers” (Psalm 68: 30). “In you O Lord have we taken refuge, let us never be put to shame (Psalm 71: 1).

Continue in prayer. Tell the Lord, “4 Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel. 5 For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. 6 From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you. 9 Do not cast me away when I am old;  do not forsake me when my strength is gone.” (Psalm 71: 4- 6, 9)

Pray earnestly, intercede for the nation, the church, your family and life. You have greater advantage in this warfare than all the forces of darkness put together.

This is because the POWER of God we are invoking, is “far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under the feet ‘of Christ’ and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church” (Ephesians 1: 21- 22).

Stand in the authority of Christ therefore and break every stronghold destroying the peace and joy within. Refuse any word contrary to the counsel of the Lord. It shall not prosper.

Now thank God for His deliverance and put on your best smile. Claim victory by faith over all the fiery darts of the devil. Today is going to be a wonderful day because you have already won victory on your knees. As long as our God remains the only God who saves, we live to win tomorrow’s battles too if any should arise. Our God is stronger! Click here let’s celebrate victory together: https://youtu.be/XuLZOrUSf3k
