Strong Captain

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Strong Captain
Text: Rev 19: 11-15a

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows except He Himself.

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron sceptre.” Amen!

There is always the tendency to panic in the face of opposition. However I encourage you today. You are on the winning side, a victor through Christ. An overcomer whose weapons are mighty through God!

The Supreme Captain of the armies of both Israel and Heaven fights all our battles for us. He brings us victory over all the challenges we face at work, home, school and in the ministry.

His name is FAITHFUL & TRUE. Meaning we can totally depend on Him. All He requires of us to:

i. imbibe the Word of God.

ii. live a sanctified life

iii. follow and obey the Captain

iv. persist in prayer.

God will then bring us victories that seemed impossible by our own abilities.

NB: WE HAVE ONLY 11 DAYS MORE TO 4JBAND’S HAREL CONCERT. PLEASE MAKE A DATE TO BE PART OF THIS WONDERFUL TIME IN GOD’S PRESENCE.
