Soul Ties (Part 2) Text: 1 Corinthians 6:16-17 (NLT)

Yesterday we had a general discussion about ungodly Soul Ties. Today we want to look at HOW THESE SOUL TIES ARE FORMED!

There are several means by which spiritual covenants are made. If it’s going to be a SOUL TIE however, it definitely must involve personal exchanges between two or more individuals at a time. Blood Covenants and SEX are two main activities that create an ungodly Soul Tie. Both activities bind the souls of the individuals involved in an ungodly tie that makes them totally vulnerable to each other and to satanic manipulations.

There seem to have been a lot of education about the dangers of blood covenants in recent years. Many have therefore been able to resist the temptation to get into such a covenant. SEXUAL COVENANTS on the other hand has risen to an alarming level. We will therefore narrow the discussion to SOUL TIES formed through SEX:

As established yesterday, sex with anyone (or animal) other than your spouse creates an ungodly soul tie between the two individuals. Exchange of body fluids and blood becomes the basis for these ties.

Since the activity is contrary to the word of God, opportunistic demons enforce the bond so that the sexual partners remain in the sin that makes them bound. Then, door ways are opened for negative exchanges and attacks (like unnecessary obsession, curses, emotional torment, total enslavement of one party to the other). This is why Apostle Paul explains that every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body (1 Cor 6:18, NKJV). SEXUAL SIN PUTS THE BELIEVER AT THE RISK OF STRANGE ATTACKS.

Unfortunately, an ungodly soul tie can expand to include all others that your sexual partner engages sexually or has engaged in the past. A complicated chain of all these sexual partners is created, a common platform for the transfer of curses and negative influence. Until the ties are broken, those involved normally find it difficult to trace the source of most of the misfortunes that befall them.

1 Corinthians 6:16, asks “What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Dear beloved, kindly reflect on the above, try and recall all the different sexual partners from your past, do you feel uncomfortably bonded to any (or many) of them? Is it likely these partners were (or are) sexually involved with others as well? Do you suspect that some of the challenges you face today may have it source from an ungodly soul tie?

Don’t worry, Just begin to Pray, Ask God to deliver you from every covenant that is contrary to His Word in Jesus name.

TOMORROW WE WILL BE DISCUSSING HOW TO BREAK AN UNGODLY SOUL TIE!
