Pray For Them!

Topic: Pray For Them!
Text: 1 Timothy 2: 1- 4

1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Amen

If you were a President, CEO, Director, Principal, Chancellor, Dean, Pastor or Father, would you have wished your subordinates prayed for you? Why so?

Well, since we are all leaders in one way or the other, it should be easy to identify with this. Every leader retires to bed tired and unsure. They are very much aware that their best can never be enough to get the job done.

Difficult to know what to do and whom to trust, some rely on the Almighty God for insight, strength, direction and hope. Others turn to satanic powers for “rapid” protection and promotion.

At least, the one thing they have in common is the fact that, both categories of leaders agree they are limited and need the supernatural to succeed.

Now, since the fate and destiny of the nation/organization and its people/workers depends on the decisions made by these leaders, BELIEVERS MUST NECESSARILY PRAY FOR THEM.

First, that they come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus; and second; that Jesus influences the decisions they make.

The truth is, their hearts turned to God literally creates a wonderful atmosphere for us to live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. Otherwise, their incompetence will make life unbearable for even the elect of God.

Begin to pray for all leaders. Ask that the fear of God will cause them to lead in all diligence and righteousness for the benefit of all. Praying for them is praying for you. YOU ARE A LEADER! Watch and be blessed:https://youtu.be/CcwZsbcyi8s
