Topic : Not Yet Over

Text: 2 Samuel 8: 1a

“And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them…”(KJV)

David faced several obstacles after he was crowned King. 2 Samuel Chapter 8 records some of the challenges he had and how God gave him victory in all. After each recorded victory, Bible goes ahead to say “and it came to pass” or “in the course of time”,  etc” then the next challenge is recorded.

This means the king had to deal with different kinds of opposition at different times of his reign. He solved one problem today to solve another tomorrow. Through it all, God made Him a conqueror.

This may be your story too. You feel like you live each day to solve different problems. Well don’t worry at all, your life can not be said to be over just because you had a setback. God has another victory planned to make you stronger, wiser and better.

Don’t listen if the enemy whispers in your ear, “You’ve seen your best days; this setback is the end of you.” …No, let that go in one ear and out the other. God is saying to you, “I am your strength and song. I am your shield and salvation. Through me, you are more than a conqueror.”

Beloved, if you can trust God’s word and hold on to it, then be assured that He has an “after this” in your future. He is going to bring you out of each battle better than you were before!

Begin to pray all your fustrations to Jesus. Take authority in His name and recover your success, joy, peace and anything the devil has stolen from you. Through the name and blood of Jesus, all will and shall be well.

Precious One, IF WE ARE TO WIN VICTORY EVERYDAY, THEN BY PRAYER BEGIN TO CONQUER NOW! BECAUSE WE MUST CONQUER TODAY TO PAVE WAY FOR ANOTHER VICTORY TOMORROW.
