Topic: He Speaks The Drooping Heart To Cheer!
Text: Job 37: 5
5 God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding. Amen
The prayer on the lips of many believers across the globe is to hear the voice of the Lord. It settles every matter. Its wisdom is deep and the revelations therein bring satisfaction to every dropping heart that needs cheer.
His voice thunders in several ways marvelous. Sometimes, it is a still small voice in the mist of the storm. Other times, it is too loud and audible to be mistaken for your thoughts. He may also speak through creation, including people we encounter.
The most important factor to note however is that, every word or voice that claims to be that of God must trace both their source and confirmation from the Bible. If it does, then get ready for the miraculous. He is going to do great things beyond your imagination.
This is because, “4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic. 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. 7 The voice of the LORD strikes with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert; the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in His temple all cry, “Glory!” (Psalm 29: 4-5, 7- 9). He will watch over His word to perform.
Begin to pray now and ask His voice to echo eternal truth through your every circumstance. His voice is so powerful, it brings hell to its knees. All demons tremble at His voice and bow to His command.
Therefore call on Him to speak through your pain. His voice will break the chains and calm your nerves. He will even teach you to go left or right so you do not miss your providential way.
Always keep in mind that “there are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification (1 Corinthians 14 : 10).
