He Put Them All Out!

Topic: He Put Them All Out!
Text: Mark 5: 39- 40.

39 He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” 40 But they laughed at Him. After He put them all out, He took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with Him, and went in where the child was. Amen.

Jarius, one of the rulers of the synagogue, came to Jesus concerning his little daughter who was dying. He pleaded earnestly that Jesus would come and lay His hands on her so that she will be healed and live. So Jesus went with him (Mk 5: 22- 24).

On the way, a large crowd followed and pressed around Him. This delayed their pace until word came from Jarius’ house that his daughter was now dead. But ignoring what they said, Jesus said to Jarius “do not to be afraid; just believe.”

When they got there, the people were loudly crying and wailing. Jesus asked “WHY ALL THIS COMMOTION AND WAILING? The child is not dead but asleep.”

That very moment, the same mourners who were crying their eyes out stopped and begun to laugh at Him. Only God knows how they could switch over emotions with that much ease.

Realising how fake and faithless they were, JESUS PUT THEM ALL OUT and called to Himself the few who desired more than anything to see the girl alive again.

These people, though few, chose to believe the words of the Master that all will be well, and held fast to it against the odds. With them, He went where the girl had been laid and resurrected her.

Beloved in Christ, some dying situations require drastic measures. Jarius was losing his daughter and all he had was the Words of Jesus assuring him that his daughter will live. He chose to hold on to this promise than to move with the faithless crowd.

Of course they had absolutely nothing to offer him! They move by their senses and not by faith. If they think your situation is good, they rejoice. If not, they wail. Either way, they really don’t care whether you lose or gain. PUT THEM ALL OUT! Yes you do not need their assessment or opinion about your situation. The word of God is ENOUGH for you.

If you get a few brethren who are willing to stand with you through the storm, trusting God’s word for your redemption, just stick with them. Especially those who anticipate the full manifestation of the word of God in your life and pray with you regarding it. They are of so much worth than a crowd of wailers who could turn mockers in a split second.

As for God, nothing is impossible with Him. He said to Jeremiah one day, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jer 32: 27). Every promise concerning your life will necessarily come to pass if only you can believe.

Begin to pray now. Command every dead gift and skill, unfulfilled breakthrough and opportunities that are lost in your life, to resurrect in Jesus name.

Get back up on your feet again and refuse to allow the words of faithless people anywhere near you. You are at the verge of your miracle. Make a decision to pursue godliness with all your heart.

Also, harness the God-given potential in you and pursue the career objective with confidence. Honour God with your life and substance and refuse to be intimidated by the crowd. INFACT, PUT THEM ALL AWAY, lest their faithlessness discourage you.

Hold fast to the hand of Christ leading you to excellence even as you join your faith with that of the few godly people around you who truly care; the rest is done! JESUS WILL BRING EVERY WORD CONCERNING YOUR LIFE TO PASS AND PROVE TO THE ON-LOOKING CROWD THAT HE IS THE WORD OF TRUTH.
