Topic: Dwelling In The Presence Of God
Text: Psalm 27: 4- 5
One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. Amen
A glance at our King will keep you stunned forever! He is clothed in majesty and splendour. Those who have had the privilege of this experience always desire to be in His presence.
Jehovah sits highly exalted in the midst of the Cherubims and Saraphines. He’s full of glory, goodness, power, might and awesome majesty. Heaven and earth simply adore Him. What about you?
Beloved, in an era where men are too busy to experience God in the fullness of His power, make it your topmost desire to DWELL in His presence, day and night (not occasionally); to gaze upon His beauty and to seek Him in His temple.
For in the day of trouble, He will keep you safe in His dwelling and hide you in the shelter of His tabernacle and set you high upon the rock.
Also, “let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.” (Heb 10: 25, NLT).
Child of God; try not to be an OCCASSIONAL visitor to the house of the Lord. Delight yourself in the assembly of His saints and abide in Him always! He will in turn hide you in the shelter of His sacred tent and set you high upon the rock.
Whatelse can we say; rise up and start making your way to the sanctuary where other believers are waiting to fellowship with you and to encourage your faith! In His presence, where two or more have gathered in His name is what makes all the difference. Your life will never be the same again! See you at church.
