Don’t Bow

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Don’t Bow
Text: Daniel 3: 16-18

“But even if He does not, we want you to know, o king that we will not serve your gods… Amen

Many of life’s trials compare with the character of king Nebuchadnezzar. They always appear to invoke fear and compel our “obedience” so that we bow to them. But please don’t bow!

Bowing to the problem is simply making that problem the king or the god of your life. We become slaves to the dictates of our situation rather than believers of what the Lord says concerning our lives. Don’t bow down!

Not “bowing” is putting the problem to shame and denouncing its authority over your life. Remember, “the suffering of this time cannot be compared to the glory to be revealed in us” (Romans 8: 18). Don’t bow!

Consider all trials as lessons, pass the test and get the promotion. You see, the people who reported the 3 hebrew boys to the king, because they wouldn’t bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s image, probably thought he had finished them, but he was wrong, he rather caused their promotion. Halleluyah!

Keep then your integrity and dignity in Christ even in the midst of your trial. God will surely lift you up. Hold on to your faith, Don’t bow!!!

Begin to pray now. Ask for strength to endure all tribulations until the victory of our Lord becomes your song. God about causing your promotion, with all these things you are going through. So don’t give up and don’t bow. Click: https://youtu.be/7eI69zDFhJ8
