Topic: You Will Weep No More!
Text: Isaiah 30: 19
19 People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious He will be when you cry for help! As soon as He hears, He will answer you. AMEN
So many emotions run deep within us everyday. Yes all of us, both male and female. Some are easy to wade off, others weigh us down. Overwhelmed by all the uncertainties in our lives, we cry. Tears that stem from all the pent up emotions.
From the grief of losing a dear one to the disappointments from some betrayed trust. From the pain of being very sick to the sorrow of having many needs in life. From the depression of having many unfulfilled dreams to the hurt of being misunderstood by your fiancé, fiancée, colleagues, family and friends. We all break down at one point or the other and cry.
Many will agree with the fact that there’s often some great relief after we’ve shed tears. However, the problem that induced the tears almost always remains the unchanged, no matter the amount of tears you shed.
Therefore, instead of crying to yourself or to others for consolation, why don’t you rather choose to pray? Yes, why don’t you carry it all to Jesus? Tear drops may fall as you talk with Him but don’t worry, it just shows you are being sincere with our Father in heaven and He understands.
He promises to be gracious to us once we cry to Him for help. He also promises that as soon as He hears our prayers, He will answer us. That means an end to all our sorrows right?
What else can be more encouraging in moments like these when everything seems to fall apart? Begin to pray now. Let it all unto Jesus. He said “Come unto me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11: 28).
Tell yourself in prayer that you’re not going to wallow in self-pity over this matter. Whenever any situation overwhelms you, simply pray about it and refuse to give in. For that day is coming when God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelations 21: 4). Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning” (Psalm 30: 5b).
Your morning has come. See the Lord turn all your sadness into joy. Wipe your tears to cry no more. THE JOY OF THE LORD IS THY STRENGTH. Watch and be blessed: https://youtu.be/7eI69zDFhJ8
