14 But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.15 Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Amen
More often than not, when Christian sufferings become unbearable we tend to query the presence of God in our lives. Questions such as ” Why me or why has the Lord forsaken me… emanates.
The omniscient God whispers to you this morning” I will not forget you” Halleluyah! This is not a religious jargon, it is the TRUTH. The love of God for us is stronger than parental love (Is 49: 15). How can He forget us?
He MADE us and has engraved our names in His palms. It is impossible for Him to forget anything about us. Not your name, nor your pain. Not your sacrifice, nor your prayer. Not your obedience, nor your repented heart. He sees each tear and He understands better than a mother understands the tears of a crying baby.
So the next time you feel all alone in this world, know that YOU ARE NEVER REALLY ALONE; The mighty God of Israel abides with you through the storm and the dark nights. He is the dependable that never puts to shame.
His word says ” Instead of shame, you will receive double honour, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” (Is 61: 7)
Begin to pray now. Pray the depression, anxiety, sorrow and confusion away. For how can the boat where lies the Master of the seas, the waves and the winds SINK? You Will Never Drown In Life!
