Topic: To Those Who Have Kept The Word!
Text: Revelation 3: 7-11
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.
8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. AMEN
Beloved, Jesus speaks to us this morning. Except that this encouraging and wonderful prophecy is not just for everyone who hears it. It is for those WHO HAVE KEPT HIS WORD AND HAVE NOT DENIED HIS NAME, even though their strength was little. These are the same who strive to honor God’s name and obey His word even to the last ounce of strength within.
He says to them, ‘See, I have placed before you an open door that none can shut’- HALLELUYAH! He also says, ‘I will make those who are of the synagogue of satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but liars- I will make them come and FALL DOWN AT YOUR FEET and acknowledge that I HAVE LOVED YOU’. Halleluyah! He says again that ‘since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is to test the inhabitants of the earth’. Halleluyah!
The only advice the Lord has for everyone who has kept His word and not denied His name is; “IAM COMING SOON. HOLD ON TO WHAT YOU HAVE, SO THAT NO ONE WILL TAKE YOUR CROWN“. This simply means, continue with the word, don’t give up to lose the very blessing you have been working so hard for because “I COME SOON,“says the Lord.
Now let’s see, where are all those who want to partake in these blessings mentioned above? Please desire the word of God and deem it more precious than gold. Begin to pray for divine understanding each time you read the word and divine courage to acknowledge the Lord before men and not deny His name.
BEHOLD AN OPENED DOOR WILL BE PLACED BEFORE YOU; IT IS ONE THAT USHERS ALL WHO KEEP THE WORD INTO DIVINE BLESSINGS AND PROSPERITY. IT ALSO LEADS THEM STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN TO SPEND ETERNITY WITH JESUS. Come and join us keep and live by the word therefore, even if our strength is little. For the blessing this brings, is worth every price we pay to know Him better through His word. Think about it!
