Topic: The Lamb Of God
Text: John 1:29
“The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” Amen.
Sin is very expensive. It contradicts God. After the fall of man, sin became the disease that separated us from the God we love.
God sent His son to the world as the sacrificial “Lamb” to take away the sins of the world. The chastisement of our sin was to be upon Him.
He is the high priest that sits at the right hand of God. Bearing with our weaknesses, He makes intercession for us everyday.
When we confess our sins, He’s faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.
Do you have a terrible and regretful past you are yet to confess? Open up to Jesus. His blood speaks better things than that of Abel.
WHY SHOULD YOU CARRY A BACK LOAD OF UNCONFESSED SIN INTO THE NEXT YEAR WHEN JESUS IS WAITING TO TAKE OFF THAT BURDEN AND GIVE YOU REST.
Begin to pray now. Confess the ungodly life you have kept secret from all. Ask Him to strengthen your weakness, create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within.
