Today we begin our 4 day series on soul ties.
Our opening scripture speaks of a spiritual truth commonly referenced as SOUL TIE. The Bible does not explicitly use the phrase “soul tie”. The name is adopted by some Christian theologians to explain activities that knit two separate but willful souls into a spiritual tie or covenant usually difficult to break, at least not by mere word of mouth or a change of mind.
This is often the case because the parties involved enact spiritual laws with their corresponding penalties upon themselves while forming these “ties”. Spiritual law enforcement agents are thereby invoked to ensure that these “ties” are not easily broken except by Superior law, principle or divine decree.
One of the commonest means by which “soul ties” are formed is through sex.
Beloved please note that sex between married couples remain godly and bounded by divine love. It is spiritually legal, approved by the Word of God and the devil can do nothing about this. Jesus in Matt 19: 5- 6 “.. said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be UNITED to his wife, and the two will become ONE flesh! So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
However, sex between two unmarried partners (such as fornication, adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, incest, beastiality etc) can draw these lovers into an unholy bond with severe spiritual consequences manifested through mistreatments, abuse and other strange forms of negativity. God does not approve of this!
Now since these sexual activities are contrary to the word of God, Satan gets a “field day” with the lives and destinies of these pleasure lovers. Sexual sin opens “DOOR WAYS” for demomic attacks and infiltrations.
In the demonic world, an unholy soul tie creates the avenue for the transfer of demonic garbage. Curses become easily shared, so are other evil attacks like sicknesses and misfortune. Both partners become slaves to the sin that enforces the soul tie (sex), one party could be seriously manipulated and controled by the other and can’t break free.
The sanctity of sex is for marriage. God created sex for marriage and not to enhance our romantic relationships. We can’t compromise on that. Next time soap operas and movies make you feel that the relevance of abstainance is for some religious fanatics who don’t know what they are missing out on, don’t give in…. the price you pay is often higher than the short pleasure derived from sex. Meditate on these words and begin to pray.
