Topic: Remember Your Helper
Text: Genesis 40:14
“But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house. Amen.
Joseph lived with Potiphar as his able aid. Potiphar’s wife tried seducing Joseph and after several failed attempts, she framed him up.
She accused Joseph of attempted rape and he was put in prison. In prison, God was still with Joseph. One day, Pharaoh’s butler, who was in prison with Joseph, had a dream.
Joseph, by the power of God, interpretated the dream. “Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand according to the former manner, when you were his butler, and it was so. (Genesis 40:13)
However, Joseph had one request to the butler. “But remember me when it is well with you”, he said, yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him (Genesis 40:23)
We have all at one point in time depended on a friend, relative, superior, or a complete stranger for some breakthrough. Sadly, we easily forget the people who helped us to the top. When our lives improve, we easily forget the GOD who made it possible.
Begin to pray, you who have forgotten God after He blessed you. Remember His mercies and come back to your first love. Also, remember today all the people who have been helpful to you, pray for them and show appreciation when you can. GOD USED OTHER LIVES TO SHOW US HIS CARE! Now is the time to put a smile on the faces of others. Click:https://youtu.be/McUO9lh_yCs
