Topic: Rehoboth
Text: Genesis 26:19- 22
19 Isaac’s Servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there. 20 The shepherds of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s shepherds, claiming, “This water is ours.” So Isaac named the well Esek (Quarrel) because they quarreled over it. 21 They dug another well and there was a difference over that one also, so he named it Sitnah (Accusation). 22 He went on from there and dug yet another well. But there was no fighting over this one so he named it Rehoboth (Wide-Open Spaces), saying, “Now God has given us plenty of space to spread out in the land.” Amen
This is your year of Rehoboth. You have been given more room to spread out. Every dispute and accusation over your possession is ceased by the power of God in Jesus’ Name. This year, the Lord has given you more room in the Land, to expand, so make the most of it. Depart from sin and unbelief, cling to God and see how He fills your barn with super-natural harvest.
You see, whenever Isaac’s servants worked hard to open a well, even if it was in the middle of a famine, water came gushing out. The envious Philistines would then appear and contend with them, laying claim of ownership to the said well. But as soon as they take over the well, they fill it up with sand until it’s completely sealed. This they did over and over again until the Lord gave Isaac both restoration and compensation. He called it Rehoboth.
The truth be told, these Philistines never really needed Isaacs well. Even if they did, SHEER WICKEDNESS, PRIDE AND ENVY wouldn’t allow them use it. JUST TO SABOTAGE ISAAC’S EFFORTS AND MAKE THEM ALL SUFFER IN THE DROUGHT.
Beloved, maybe your life has not been different from Isaac’s in times past. But cheer up! It is not going to be the same sad story over and over again. That cycle is broken this year. All that contention over that which is yours both by divine provision and hard work, must stop in Jesus name!
Begin to pray now. Your Rehoboth must appear this year. Defend your territory and possession in Jesus name, until you have been settled on every side to expand. God is a prayer answering God. “He will not let your foot slip— He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121: 3- 4).
“He will keep you from all harm and watch over your life. (Psalm 121: 6- 7). He’s more than able to restore everything we lost in year past, a million folds. Settle down and expand, your Rehoboth is now. Click: https://youtu.be/zAC9mrptnK0
