Paul’s Testimony, Our Spiritual Fact!

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Paul’s Testimony, Our Spiritual Fact!
Text: 1 Tim: 12-15

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. Amen

Like Paul, some of us in our past became blasphemers and persecutors of God out of ignorance. Others still struggle with lies, stealing, sexual immoralities, greed, perversion and disobedience.

The only reason why we still standing today inspite of all the accusations the devil throws at us is GRACE!

Grace remains that mystery in Christ that is able to translates sinful men/women into sons and daughters of the Most High God! It ministers the unfailling love of Christ to sinners and give them no rest until stubborn hearts are broken to receive the Lord.

This Powerful Grace doesn’t only free, forgive, heal, deliver and save us; it also gives strength for our christian journey and the opportunity to be appointed in service to our king.

How much can we actually pay for grace? Think about it. Priceless as it remains, the least we can do in response to it, is to render our lives a living sacrifice to God.

Rise up therefore, and begin to pray. Like Paul, thank God for the grace of God which has appeared to all men teaching us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions; and rather encouraging us to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope- the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Titus 2: 11-14).

Also pray that this grace that surpasses human understanding inspires your service to God even now more than ever. So that we can work the field of souls till Christ appears to take us with Him. Oh what a wonder that will be- Halleluyah!

Start preparing for church service please. Honestly each time we fellowship, your grateful hearts creates the perfect atmosphere for God to inhabit our praise and His blessings overflow. No excuses for today. His grace is sufficient for your every weakness, to save, bless, heal and deliver. Don’t be left out again.
