Light Will Always Be Noticed.

Topic: Light Will Always Be Noticed.
Text: Mark 7:24.

Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet He could not keep His presence secret. Amen.

There were a few times Jesus had hoped to remain anonymous and unnoticed either to take rest or to await an appointed time. But more often than not, His Presence was noticed. So it is for each one of us who is truly born again and has the Holy Spirit living in you.

Talking about those who live by the Word and prefer godliness to darkness. A glorious light shines all around them that is very noticeable even by those who are not spiritually discerning. It is a sweet and divine aura all around them which attracts.

They may be as ordinary as Jesus tried to be, yet you will see their bright light standing out and leading all who come close to the greatest Light from which they take their source; JESUS CHRIST! NOW, EVEN THOUGH IT IS TRUE THAT SATAN SOMETIMES MASQUERADES HIMSELF “AS” AN ANGEL OF LIGHT (2 Cor 11: 14), ANYONE WHO CARES TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE CAN NOTICE HOW FAKE AND INAUTHENTIC HIS ‘LIGHT’ IS.

IT CAN NEITHER SUSTAIN ITSELF NOR ATTRACT THE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNING.
EVERYONE KNOWS HOW DIFFICULT IT WILL FOREVER BE FOR DARKNESS TO PRETEND TO BE LIGHT. HE GIVES HIMSELF AWAY AS HIS SO CALLED LIGHT HAS NO RADIANCE AT ALL, EXCEPT THE INEVITABLE TRACES OF DARKNESS, OBSCURITY AND DECEIT.

But the authentic presence (or light) of God on every true believer is so genuine and pure that it attracts and leads many to the saving knowledge of Christ. When Jesus was to add His voice to why His presence with us makes us stand out even in a rush crowd, He said:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Mat 5: 14- 16).

It is important that we assess our lives in the light of God’s Word. Do you see your life manifesting the glory of God as a town built on a hill that cannot be hidden, or you see yourself having no positive impact on people, like a lamp that has been put under a bowl?

Meditate on this word and begin to pray. Ask for grace to walk with the Lord in absolute reverence and total devotion; so that your light will shine before others, who will see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Remember, LIGHT WILL ALWAYS STAND OUT. EVEN IN THE MIDST OF LIGHTS, SOME SHINE BRIGHTER THAN OTHERS. WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THIS WORLD; WE CAN ONLY CONTINUE TO SHINE.
