Topic: It’s Your Turn To Encourage!
Text: Isaiah 35: 3-4
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution, He will come to save you.” Amen
It’s your turn today to encourage a friend who is down and weary. Yes, I know you may have your own worries too but put your cares aside for once and go all out for another. In the process your will realize you own healing and together glorify God!
So Yes! Say to the weary, the worn, the torn, the fearful, the broken hearted, the hungry, the grieving, the depressed, the sad, the faint and the troubled that Jesus will surely come and save!
For centuries, He’s known the world over as the specialist in fixing broken heartedness, strengthening the weak and giving hope where there is none. He wills that we prospers and be in good health even as our soul prospers. Be encouraged to put aside your own anxieties so you can also encourage another in Jesus Name!
Begin your day by praying for all those in distress, seek from scriptures what encouraging words you can share with them, tell them to trust in the Lord, tell them Jesus died for our sins, tell them to let go the past, tell them vengeance is the Lord’s, tell them Jesus will surely come and Save Them!
BUT WHEN THERE ARE NO WORDS TO SAY THAT COULD EVER BE ENOUGH, PROVIDE A SHOULDER FOR THAT FRIEND TO LEAN ON, AND JUST BE THERE FOR THEIR TEARS! God will use your life to show that He’s near.
