Today’s Devotion:
Topic: I WILL CARRY YOU!
Text: Isaiah 46:4
“Even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save” Amen.
Jehovah made us. He loves and cares for all His creation. Anytime we feel rejected or burdened in life, we must reflect on His word and feel comforted.
This very morning, the Lord is saying to those who are His own, “I will carry you!” Most encouraging of all is the awareness that unlike friends and relations, Jesus can actually bear with all things that affect our lives. That’s why we unload all our burdens, and trust Him with our present and future.
In His arms, our needs never exceed His providence, which means we can cast our cares upon Him without having to worry about His ability to intervene.
Begin to pray therefore. It’s a new working week. Ask the Lord to carry you on His wings of grace. Plead that He bears with all your weaknesses while endowing you with spiritual strength to overcome.
Now face your day with confidence knowing that you are carried by the good Sherperd whose specialty is to watch over His own with zealous care. Those He carries, never stumble. You will never fail.
