Help The Weak, But Watch Yourself!

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Help The Weak, But Watch Yourself!
(Self Assessment)

Background: Called out of darkness into the fold of Christ, some of us privately struggle with sin and that must be the concern of all. The question however is: how can we help each other perfect this walk of faith till Christ appears to take us with Him to Glory?

What are the practical steps to take in reaching out to a brother/ sister caught in sin, such that we will not be guilty of condemning the individual instead of the sin? Let us zoom straight into our weekly bible study for answers. Don’t hesitate to share the revelations the Holy Spirit gives you with us.

Text: Galatians 6:1-4

1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else. Amen
