Topic: He Gives What You Need!
Text: Phillipians 4:19
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Amen
In Second Samuel Chapter 12, David had gotten off course. The prophet Nathan was correcting him. In doing so, he reminded David of what God had brought him through. David had seen God’s goodness, favor, protection, provision, wealth and healing down through the years.
And in verse 8, Nathan made an interesting statement. He said, “David, if it had not been enough, God would have given you much, much more.” In other words, “David, looking back over your life, if you were ever lacking, if you ever needed more wisdom, more favor, more protection, more wealth, God would have given it to you.”
That tells us that God provides exactly what we need at every moment, in order to fulfill His Divine purpose for our lives. Just when we lack anything vital for this journey, God makes His provision available to fill that gap.
The moment a lack begins to drain our love for God and weaken our faith in the Word of God concerning our lives, God intervenes. He always provide what we need now and gives us more should we have need for more later.
Even when we going through trial times, our needs are still met by God. Guess what? After our trial is over, it is still God who brings the increase that makes the difference.
Today, be encouraged, your needs are met in Jesus Name! What you need tomorrow is on its way! God is faithful, He will give you all you need to fulfill His purposes for the day. Should you need more, He God will fulfil that.
Begin to pray therefore, tell God to help you appreciate His provision per season, and cause you not to worry dramatically about the least. He is faithful and able. The dependable who does not put to shame. The on-time God. And the God of all possibilities. Trust Him!
For “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Luke 12: 7). God’s got you covered!
