Topic: God’s Grace Is Sufficient
Text: 2 Corinthians 12: 9
But he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Amen
Jesus! Jesus! The name of Jesus! Oh what a wonderful name it is. He is the One seated at the right hand of God, with all power and authority, yet interceding for us. The very moment we are weary, worn and exhausted from the oppressions of the world, there comes Jesus, showing up with all the strength and grace we need to continue.
He’s the loving friend who knows and understands our feeble frames. He sees our every struggle and weakness, yet PROMISES NEVER TO GIVE UP ON US. His grace is not only sufficient, but also greater than all our sins and weaknesses. And He makes this grace available to all who believe.
A song writer once said:
“But for Your grace I could not be saved. But for Your grace I would go my way. I’m forever grateful. That You have been faithful to me, Lord. For Your amazing grace.”
Cheer up Precious One, God knows everything you going through and understands. By grace, He promises to be there– helping you bear every load; and by this same grace give you rest.
His strength is limitless and His love is true. He finds great pleasure in helping and caring for your every need. Ours is to seek Him fervently and earnestly in prayer, yield entirely to the Holy Spirit. The rest remains His to perform.
And if you’re wondering how you can even sail through another storm life, remember the words of Mary to angel Gabriel. She asked, “How can this be…?” The angel responded with the most beautiful and assuring words – “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you..” (Luke 2:34-35)
Halleluyah! Even now, the Spirit of God is more than willing to empower you with strength, if we will surrender our burdens unto Him. While some trust in chariots and some in horses, we trust in the name of the LORD our God. (Psalm 20: 7).
Precious one, always remember that, the Lord guards the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silenced in their own darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail. (1 Samuel 2:9 NKJV). So never fret, but if you ever do, remember His word to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.
Reflect on these words and begin to pray with the song, “Treasure of my heart and of my soul. In my weakness you are merciful. Redeemer of my past and present wrongs, holder of my future days to come.”
Now step out with all the assurance and confidence in God, knowing very well that the lifter of your head has by favoured you in every facet of your life. It is by grace, not works, lest any man should boast. Kindly click, watch and be blessed: https://youtu.be/h0z64IiuciE
