Topic: Getting Worse Instead of Better?
Text: Mark 5: 25-26
And a woman was there who had been subjected to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. Amen
This dear woman with the issue of blood had suffered so long without solution. It is not true that she did nothing about her situation. As a matter of fact, just like you will do, she too did all things humanly possible to be healed. Yet instead of getting better, she only grew worse. And that became her reality until she encountered King JESUS.
Dearly beloved, in your life time, should you find yourself in a difficult situation as this woman did, remember to ignore the failed attempts of the past and the ‘discouragers’ around you and run straight to JESUS!
When men say don’t bother the Master, ignore them! When they say to you, “curse God and die,” ignore that as well. When they say, “you deserve your unfortunate circumstance as a punishment for your sins,” still don’t give in. Keep pushing towards the throne room of God. And there lay all your burdens at His feet; trust Him all the way as faithful because He is.
Remember the woman with the issue of blood, when she heard Jesus passing her way, said to herself, “If I can touch the hem of His garment, I will be healed.” Once she did, immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. To confirm the supernatural had just happened, Jesus also realized that power had gone out from him. He immediately “turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:27-30).
Enter into prayer right now, and be sure to touch the Lord with your thanksgiving, confessions, praise, worship and supplication. Pour out your heart to God and mean it. A mighty power from on high will gush right into your situation and establish a greater miracle than you ever experienced. Your life will never be the same again.
Why should your situation be getting worse when Jesus is passing your way today. Receive your deliverance and breakthrough IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME.
