Blessed Beyond Every Curse!

Topic: Blessed Beyond Every Curse! (Fasting Day 3)
Text: Numbers 22: 13- 20

13 The next morning Balaam got up and said to Balak’s princes, “Go back to your own country, for the LORD has refused to let me go with you.”14 So the Moabite princes returned to Balak and said, “Balaam refused to come with us.”

15 Then Balak sent other princes, more numerous and more distinguished than the first.16 They came to Balaam and said: “This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me,

17 because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say. Come and put a curse on these people for me.”18 But Balaam answered them, “Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the LORD my God.

19 Now stay here tonight as the others did, and I will find out what else the LORD will tell me.” 20 That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.” Amen

Balak is still determined to destroy Israel and will do or pay anything to achieve that. But Balaam knows how it is like to be in trouble with God. He will still not do anything contrary to God’s word until God permitted him to go with them.

You see, it doesn’t matter how many STUBBORN “Balaks” you have in your family, office and even church. Your God has a plan. He told Abraham “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” (Genesis 15: 1b)

He also said, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12: 3).

Rise up and begin to pray repentance for all “die-hard” Balaks who have risen against you. Pray that God frustrates all their attempts and ploy. Just as Esther prayed and turned the plans of Haman into foolishness, so should we pray and reverse all their schemes back to sender. Cover your life, family and possession in the blood of Jesus and meditate on God’s word day and night.

Whenever your “Balaks” seem to outnumber you, remember Hezekiah encouraged Israel not to panic about this, “for there is A POWER far greater on our SIDE!” (2 Chronicles 32:7b). You are blessed beyond every curse. Click: https://youtu.be/7eI69zDFhJ8
