Blessed Beyond A Curse

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Blessed Beyond A Curse (Fasting Day 12)
Text: Numbers 24: 14- 15, 17- 18

14 “Now I am going back to my people, but come, let me warn you of what this people will do to your people in days to come.” 15 Then he spoke his message: “The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,

17 “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth. 18 Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong.” Amen

Halleluyah! Balaam could see clearly indeed. He saw thousands of years into the future. A savior to rise from Jacob, the root of David. The lion of the tribe of Judah. Our defender and victory. Balaam could see JESUS rise up to defend you from the hands and attack of the “Balaks” that surround you.

Do not moan anymore. Stop complaining too. Don’t sit all day crying like one who is helpless in the hands of Balak. We are spiritual descendants of Abraham. We belong to the tribe of Israel through Christ. As many of us who have received Christ as Lord and Saviour, we are a part of Israel spiritually. Remember, “He came unto his own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He POWER to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1: 11- 12 KJV)

Balak cannot threaten and distract us any day or time and get away with that always. You are not commissioned by God to only be on the defensive. This time, we are waging war. Rise up and begin to pray. Crush the foreheads of moab (demons) and the skulls of sheth (principalities). Bless your life according to scripture and establish it by faith, in Jesus’ name.

We have two more days to either protect or recover all the blessings “balak” seeks to destroy by a curse. Do not grow weary in prayer yet. It is “for this reason the Son of God was made manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 Jh 3: 8b). JESUS FIGHTS FOR YOU. HE KNOWS NO DEFEAT. You are blessed beyond every curse.
