Topic: Ask For Rain
Text: Zechariah 10:1 (NKJV)
“Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.” Amen
In scripture, rain represents God’s favour/ blessings. This verse is telling us to “ask for more rain even though it’s the season for rains.” What does that mean? You might think, “If it is the time for the latter rain, why do I need to ask God for it.”
But all the Bible is saying is, “Yes, it may be the season of blessing, God’s favour is available to all, but in Him there are no limits, by faith declare more blessings over your own life and the zeal of the Lord will accomplish it”.
See! God is showering blessings, healing, promotion and good ideas, breakthroughs, deliverance and more grace. It’s raining GOOD all around us. But, we have to do our part first.
We must get our lives, thoughts, actions and words to seriously align with the Word of God. By prayer and positive confession let us position and prepare ourselves for the abundant rain/ blessing we are asking for.
This is a great day to be alive! God is pouring out His blessings like no other time in history. Right now, it’s raining increase. It’s raining new ideas. It’s raining promotion. Don’t let this pass you by. Start declaring it for yourself, “I am blessed. I am prosperous. I am favoured. I am healthy. I am free. Through Christ am more than a conqueror!”
Ask for more rain in this time of latter rain and see His blessing and provision in every area of your life! Pray now.
