Topic: Personal Prayer Time
(Self Assessment)
Background: Prayer can be simplified to mean communication with God. It remains a very vital necessity in our walk with God and it must not be taken for granted. Although prayer can be said anywhere at any time, creating a serene atmosphere for it enhances its effectiveness and benefits.
Our Lord Jesus Christ mostly opted for a particular time and environment for meditation and prayer. Kindly read the passage below, and share the revelations the Holy Spirit gives you with us.
Text: Mark 1: 35- 37
35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. 36 Simon and his companions went to look for him, 37 and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!” 38 Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come. ” Amen
