Topic: Rescue You Unharmed!
Text: Psalm 55 :16 -18, 22

16 As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. 17 Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice. 18 He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. 22 Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. Amen

It has never been easy to encourage a christian brother or sister going through so much by telling them that their trials only come to strengthen them. The mere fact that they happen to be children of the Most High, makes it difficult for them to comprehend why such and such should even be happening to them in the first place. Yet, evident through the Bible are many many testimonies that confirm the ability of God to save; no matter how complicated the situation might be.

The personal testimony of the Psalmist above amplifies this truth even better. He explains how possible it is for our GOD TO RESCUE US UNHARMED FROM THE BATTLES THAT ARE WAGED AGAINST US, EVEN THOUGH THOSE WHO OPPOSE US ARE MANY. WOW!

Unharmed? Yes unharmed! You can ask Darius what he saw the morning after he had commanded Daniel into the den of hungry lions. The latter was not only alive, he was UNHARMED. Ask Nebuchadnezzar what he saw when he commanded the three Hebrew boys to be thrown into a furnace seven times hotter than usual. He saw a fourth man, with an appearance like the Son of God with them. When he called them out of the furnace, they were UNHARMED in spite of all the heat.

From being the most loved child of Jacob, to going through the pit to become a slave and later prisoner, Joseph flourished everywhere he found himself. And when the appointed time comes, he is called out of prison unharmed unto the most elevated throne in Egypt. One that was second only to the throne of Pharaoh himself.

After wandering many many years in the desert, the Lord finally settled the Israelites in Canaan unharmed. One day, Moses summoned all Israel and reminded them saying: Your eyes have seen all that the LORD did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials and to all his land. With your own eyes you saw those great trials, those signs and great wonders (too). Then the Lord said through Moses “During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.” (Deuteronomy 29: 2-3, 5)

Be strong and be encouraged. Rise above the challenge and cast your cares on the Lord in prayer. He will sustain you; HE WILL NEVER LET THE RIGHTEOUS BE SHAKEN. Not in your day nor the many years that should come after you. He’s both able and faithful. Kindly click, watch and be blessed: https://youtu.be/DQ_BrGyw-J0
