Topic: Take Authority
Text: Matthew 8:16 (NLT)
That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick. Amen
We all at a point in time, have wished we had some super powers to change certain things in our lives and even in the life of our dear ones. We know things will be better than they are now if we had the ability to change them.
Thankfully, we can and are able to cause changes on our lives through Jesus. When many demon-possessed people were brought to Him, He cast them out the evil spirits – with a SINGLE COMMAND; now that’s authority!
“…I have given you all authority in heaven and on earth.”(Matthew 28:18b). These are the words of Jesus to us; “And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. “(John 6:63b). So, “Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.” (John 16:24b). These are assurances and undeniable truths from a Father to His children.
By reason of the BLOOD, we are all empowered by the Holy Spirit to conform all things in our lives to the obedience of Christ. This is possible because “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down of strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10: 4).
Wake up then and shake off the slumber. It is time to stand for your right child of God. Take authority in the Name of Jesus and turn things around for your good. Speak life to dead and seemingly hopeless situations in your life. The Lord is thy strength and defense, HE HAS BECOME YOUR SALVATION (Exo 15: 2).
