Topic: It’s Never Misplaced!
Text: Exodus 31:1-5
“1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “2 Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. 4 He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. 5 He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft!” Amen
It had been 2 months after the Israelites had left Egypt, and God decided to visit them at Mount Sinai. He summoned Moses up the mount and presented him with detailed plans on the construction of the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, several utensils and garments for His worship.
Moses didn’t have to worry about how demanding it was to accomplish this task, because God also showed him people that He had specifically chosen and anointed for the job.
Until this time, no one had taken note of the gifts and talents of Bezalel and Oholiab. They might have been seen carrying out one task or the other. But none ever thought that they were being prepared for a GREAT and noble task. A renowned man of God once wrote, “There are no misplaced gifts and talents, but only misused ones.”
Beloved, whatever the gift or talent you see at work in your life now, know that it is never misplaced. God never gave you anything He wouldn’t need. You could be misusing your gifts and talents, but it doesn’t suggest in anyway that they are misplaced.
Your gifts and talents MUST bring glory and pleasure to God by drawing souls to Him through Christ Jesus, and improving human lives. Begin to pray now! Ask God to find in you, a vessel worthy of His use. For whatever our hands find doing, we must do it as unto the Lord. Click and be blessed: https://youtu.be/1JwVmrLkhcw
