Topic: We Have No Excuse
Text: John 15: 22
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. Amen.
Sin is a universal problem of the world. It seems closer to us than godliness. But even though we live in this sinful world, we are not to conform to the patterns of this world. Rather, we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
The natural man lives for the flesh, but through the sacrifice of Christ, every believer has been delivered from darkness into light. The child of God that disobeyed is instantly forgiven if he repents of sin and seeks the pardon of the Lord.
So shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!. We sometimes take the grace of God for granted and dangerously try to justify certain sins we commit. Let’s not forget that no excuse for remaining in sin is justifiable enough.
Please tell the lady who “accidentally” got pregnant not to succumb to satan’s pressure and abort the child. She has no excuse or reason to do that. The activities that led to the pregnancy may have been a mistake, but the baby is not. God said to Jeremiah “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” God knows that child before conception and still knows him as a clot of blood in your womb. Do not shed blood and justify it.
Tell the lazy man that he has no excuse to fail in life. Tell him not to blame anyone for where he is now. For whenever he rises to godliness and hardwork, God will give him the ability to get wealth.
Tell all believers to be wary of sin. We have no excuse to be entangled in the things of the world. For we have been given every grace that pertains to godliness. “Surely, the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. Teaching us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.” (Titus 2:10- 11).
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6: 9- 10).
Tell the wanderers to come back to the loving arms of the Father. They have no excuse to miss heaven. Jesus stands at the door of your heart knocking. Open up to Him and receive your salvation now. Remember, no excuse will be accepted by the Righteous Judge on that day.
Jesus said “if I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin”. Let us all get rid of the little foxes that destroy the vine. We have no excuse to remain in sin! Begin to pray now! Click: https://youtu.be/fd0qOWTPhFE
