Blessed Beyond A Curse

Topic: Blessed Beyond A Curse (Fasting Day 11)
Text: Numbers 24: 11-13

11 Now leave at once and go home! I said I would reward you handsomely, but the Lord has kept you from being rewarded.”12 Balaam answered Balak, “Did I not tell the messengers you sent me, 13 ‘Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord—and I must say only what the Lord says’? Amen

If all believers will live Balaam’s confession mentioned above, what a happy life that will be:

A generation or people who are not moved by materialism and money unto perversion. A people who would not do anything of their own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord. A people who live and act only on what the Lord says.

Let’s take a critical look around around us. Why is the Church of Christ not experiencing all the blessings spoken about the past 10 days? Why are we not walking in the victory of Christ?

We have compromised on godliness and become identical with the world. There is no fear of God in our hearts now as it was then. The love for money has made our love for God cold, pastors and congregation alike.

Rise up, let us return to the height from which we have fallen. For “Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek Him” (Psalm 24: 3- 6a).

Meditate on the message and begin to pray. Ask the fear of the Lord back into your heart. It is the beginning of wisdom. It keeps you forever in the presence of God where no curse can befall you. You are blessed beyond every curse. Click: https://youtu.be/JdfQ4a0X4to
