Text: Proverbs 22:29
Topic: Be Diligent
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before obscure men. Amen.
Having a talent or great skill is not enough to impact your world. It is the attitude you attach to this talent and skill that yields results. One of such attitudes is DILIGENCE. Diligence is the ability to work very hard and very carefully until the desired result is attained.
God never gave that ability/skill/talent for us to be ordinary. He purposed that we be EXTRA-ordinary. It is not possible to work ordinarily and expect Extra-ordinary results. It is the EXTRA-work you do that will produce EXTRA-result than the others have done, so you become an EXTRAORDINARY ordinary worker/ student.
We will agree that it is just natural that such people are invited to influential positions at the top. The effect of their dilligence require a broader operative domain. They have more to offer for the collective good.
So let excellence be your hallmark. Strive for good in all you do, strive to gain more than a few, strive to please the God up above, stay committed to work in DILLIGENCE. You will stand before kings!
