Testify Everyday!

Today’s Devotion
Topic: Testify Everyday!
Text: Psalm 107: 2

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Amen

Salvation is a wonderful experience. To have our sins forgiven and be gifted with eternal life is something so amazing to keep silent about.

Then comes our everyday’s deliverance. How the Lord keeps us from falling and sets our feet at the RIGHT places. How He heals us when we are sick and gives us unprecedented strength to carry on through the thick and thin.

How He delivers us from evil and destroys all the fiery darts of the enemy so we can be kept safe on every side. How He feeds us when hungry, clothes us when naked.

It is impossible to watch the mighty hand of God manifest these amazing acts of grace in our favour and not testify of His love EVERYDAY!

1 Peter 2: 9 explains that we have been made a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and God’s own special people, so that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of DARKNESS into His wonderful LIGHT”.

David says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! In other words, if you know you have been redeemed, forgiven, healed, delivered, why remain silent about it? Declare it! Testify! Tell the world you have been redeemed!

You see, being able to testify will always strengthen your confidence in God’s ability to save and at the same time “witness” the redemption power of Christ to those who are lost.

Precious One, why should you let anything hinder your testimony?Jesus said “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. (Matthew 10: 32- 33)

Make a decision to tell of God’s faithfulness to that colleague who has been let down by all and is thinking about giving up on LOVE. Be reminded how far you went from the fold of God and encourage that “wanderer” to come back to the loving arms of the Father.

Begin to pray. Ask for confidence to testify of the goodness of the Lord. Not one to boast, except in the death and the resurrection of our Lord. Remember, we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
