Topic: Never Give Up
Text:Mark 5:35-36
”While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said,”Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken,He said to the ruler of the synagogue,”Do not be afraid; only believe.” Amen
Brethren, never give up on your God-given dream or vision. Pursue it confidently trusting God to see you through all the way. Words of discouragement may come, just as in the passage when the ruler of the synagogue was told to stop bothering Jesus any further because his daughter had just died anyway.
But the ruler had a “never-give-up” attitude so he chose to listen to Word of hope from the Lord Jesus: ”Do not be afraid; only believe!” Having believed the report of the Lord, his daughter lived again!
Speak to your every dead situation now with the Words of the Lord and command life into them in Jesus name. Jesus is King and He has the final authority over everything. Even now, that which seemed dead is receiving life because Jesus wills it so. His Words are YES and AMEN.
After these proclamations, let’s trust God that will and can always do what He has promised to do. Begin to pray now. Refuse to give up on what God has said concerning you. Lay all that seem dead and hopeless at His feet. He will revive us for exploits so that we don’t give up and faint. He will also empower us to overcome every storm of the night that threatens the day!
