Topic: Behold! I Do A New Thing!
Text: Isaiah 43: 16-19
This is what the Lord says- He who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, i am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? Amen!
Sometimes we allow the troubles and problems we face in life to weigh us down so much that we forget who the God we serve is and what He can do. Jehovah makes a way where there seems to be no way. He speaks, and its final; He acts and none can reverse it.
He says in Isaiah 43:3 that He will give nations for your ransom, and people in exchange for your life. The sacrifice of our Lord Jesus on the cross of calvary speaks volumes of the extent our Lord is willing to go for us. Let’s not allow our minds/vision to be clouded by life’s troubles so much that we do not even see it when God is making a new move in our lives.
Forget about the past failures, for there lies your testimony when your redeemer shows up! Pray to the omnipotent God and lay down all your worries! He can do it better for you!
