Topic: With God
Text: Prov 21: 30-31″
There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. Amen
We just finished our 14 day prayer fiesta and believe God has refreshed each of us with testimonies that confirm how blessed we are in Him. As we begin this new week, make a deliberate attempt to include God in all your decisions and plans. For we can plan based on our intelligence and even go ahead and implement our decisions. However, should our decisions be contrary to God’s, then we fail!
How can man be smarter than God? Impossible! How can man handle his own affairs without grace from on high? God is the sustaining force that keeps all things going with and around us. He knows and can all things do. Our need of His wisdom, guidance and insight in every situation has never been an option; it is our LIFE LINE!
Involving God in our plans never means we fold our hands doing nothing because God has got all things covered. No! King Solomon explains that the horse is made ready for the day of battle. This means, man must do every bit physically required of us to succeed. These include applying virtues such as hardwork, honesty, diligence, humility, perseverance and respect etc to all we do. However, in executing the above, we must still recognised that the ultimate victory/success we desire will come from the Lord.
Commit all your ways to the Lord in prayer then. Including all your plans, hopes and ambitions. He will guide you to victory in Jesus name! Remember it is WITH God that all things become possible. Jesus said WITHOUT Me, ye can do nothing. NEVER FORGET THIS.
