Topic: Blessed Beyond A Curse (Fasting Day 9)
Text: Numbers 23: 27
27 Then Balak said to Balaam, “Come, let me take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God to let you curse them for me from there.” Amen
You know how everyone of us would have expected Balak to give up by now. But no, he’s not going to. His aim has not been achieved yet. He wants Israel destroyed through a curse.
He doesn’t seem to get the message yet. See how he keeps changing location hoping for a perfect spot to curse the children of God. Someone please explain to Balak that the Lord does not bless sideways: HE BLESSES ON EVERY SIDE.
IT DOES NOT MATTER THEN FROM WHICH ANGLE THE ENEMY AIMS HIS TARGET, HE SHALL NOT PROSPER. For “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.” (Psalm 34:7)
Job was a blessed man on every side. His household was blessed, his children were blessed and even his servants too, because the Lord put a hedge around them.
Those of us born again in Christ are hidden in Christ Jesus as He is hidden in the Father – We are covered in His blood.
Let no Balak intimidate you with his several attempts and changed positions. Begin to pray. SOAK YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. Walk on with divine confidence through life, knowing that God “will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91: 11). You are blessed and highly favoured!
